Quick Start: First-Time Guide

🎬 Step 1: Create Your First Presentation

  • Tap Create New Presentation

  • Select a few images from your camera roll (vacation pics, screenshots, slides—anything!)

  • You can rearrange the order or add more images if you’d like

  • Then hit Start Presentation

⏳ Heads up: There may be a short pause while your images load—especially if you selected a lot. That’s totally normal. Sit tight just for a moment while the magic happens.

📲 Step 2: Invite Your Friends to View It (the Easy Way!)

  • Ask a few friends to download the app—this gives them the best viewing experience

  • Tell them your 6-digit session code (displayed on your screen)

  • That’s it—they’ll instantly see your slides syncing to their screen in real-time!

🌐 Step 3: Need to Share with Someone Without an iPhone?

Pro Features How-To Guide

Make the most of your Pro subscription with this simple guide. These features are designed to help presenters, educators, and professionals deliver smoother, more controlled presentations with powerful options that go beyond the basics.

1. 🌐 Claim Your Unique Presenter Code

Your Presenter Code is like your digital presentation address. Once claimed, it becomes your permanent, personalized code for sharing presentations.

Steps:

  1. Open the app and tap one of the Pro Features to Upgrade to Pro (if you haven’t already).

  2. Once upgraded, create a new presentation or select a saved presentation, then tap Share Options. You will see the Your Presenter Link section with “No custom code set.”

  3. Choose a custom 4–6 character code (e.g., MYCODE, AI123, etc).

  4. Custom codes are assigned on a first-come-first-serve basis. If it’s available, it’s yours for good (if you maintain your subscription)! You will be able to copy your full custom link to your clipboard immediately.

  5. Now, anytime you present, people can join using your personal presenter code instead of a random one.

2. 📄 Import a PDF Presentation

Want to present a slide deck or visual report directly from a PDF? With Pro, you can import any PDF file as a full presentation.

Steps:

  1. Save a PDF onto your I-Phone.

  2. Open the Frank’s SmartProjector app and select Import PDF.

  3. Browse your device files and choose a PDF.

  4. Each page will become an individual slide. You may add, delete, or rearrange slides.

  5. Tap Start Presentation to begin sharing.

Tips:

  • Use this for pitch decks, lesson plans, handouts, or visual scripts.

  • Combine with Practice Mode for rehearsal.

3. 🎥 Practice Mode

Rehearse your presentation before going live. See what your viewers will see and walk through your visuals privately.

Steps:

  1. Tap Practice Mode.

  2. Open any saved presentation.

  3. Use swipe or arrow controls to walk through your slides.

  4. Make edits, reorder slides, or add new ones before going live.
