How to use SmartSlides

1. Set up your presentation

Enter your teaching topic — the more specific, the better. Examples: "Introduction to photosynthesis for 5th graders," "Basic algebra concepts: solving for x," "The causes of World War I," "Digital marketing fundamentals for beginners." Then choose your grade level (Elementary through Professional), subject, and number of slides (1–10).

2. Generate your slides

Generation takes about 30 seconds. The AI analyzes your prompt and settings, creates educationally appropriate content, and structures it into a logical slide flow. Free-plan users get 3 slide decks free; Premium users get unlimited generation.

3. Review and refine

Navigate with the slide counter and previous/next arrows or swipe gestures. Each slide has a clear title and key bullet points, with optional cover and closing slides.

4. Add AI images

Tap the camera button on any slide, choose a format (Square 1:1, Horizontal 16:9, or Vertical 9:16), and wait 20–30 seconds for a contextual image with text overlay. Regenerate with the camera button again, or remove with the red X.

5. Enhance and save

Add opening or closing slides, regenerate content for a fresh take, or delete what doesn't fit. When you're happy with it, tap the menu and choose "Save Deck." Saved decks live in "My Decks" with their last-modified date and slide count.

6. Export and share

PDF export takes 15–30 seconds and includes a professional layout, page numbers, and full-bleed images. Share via email, Messages, AirDrop, or save to Files — or print for a physical handout.
